Here’s the hard truth: AI gets answers wrong 37% of the time. And some say it will take over $1T to get even 10% better. For trivial questions like 'What’s the weather?'—no big deal. But when it comes to your health, your rights, or your money, 37% is a risk you can’t afford.
A quarter of adults ages 18-29 report using AI chatbots at least once a month to find health advice and information, but with how often models get it wrong implicit trust in a chatbot’s diagnosis could send a user down the wrong treatment path or create unnecessary, deadly complications.
AI answers fast, but it’s shortsighted. It won’t probe for details. A doctor asks when your symptoms started. A lawyer digs for context. AI? It moves on, hoping it’s right. AI cannot be trusted to navigate nuanced situations. Just as doctor would ask for key details like when symptoms started or family history,
At Pearl, we know where the line is. AI can get you started, but 26% of people still ask for a human expert to verify their answer—and they’re right to. When you need expertise that could save your life, your career, or your future, you don’t settle for “good enough.”
Trust AI for the easy stuff. Trust humans for the hard stuff. Because when the stakes are high, only one delivers the answers you can bet your life on.
That’s why at Pearl, we put humans at the center. And we’re not sorry about it.
